Rawsun AFE drives consist of an active front end (AFE) and an inverter, which operate in four quadrants. The AFE and the drive are separately deployed in the cabinet, extremely convenient for operation and maintenance.
Varies options
Rawsun AFE drives are equipped with basic platform plus extensional function modules, achieving not only the basic function of AFE plus AC drives, but also varies selection of dedicated functions. many options are available for port expansion, function combination and system upgrade.
Bus voltage auto adapted
Rawsun AFE drives can auto adjust bus voltage, which ensures the stability of drive output current and motor rotary speed. Even if there is a big fluctuation on power supply voltage for short time, or sudden change on the load, Rawsun AFE drives bus voltage self-adaption can make sure of the system operation without trip, reducing motor temperature rise and prolonging the load lifespan.
Quick dynamic response
Rawsun AFE drives have quick dynamic response to load change, no matter load is added or lessened. The drive can output suited torque simultaneously to a sharp change load.
AFE Unit
Active Front End allows real-time regeneration of energy back into the power line (No demand on phase difference). The AFE also provides power factor control for power quality management and greatly reduces unwanted power harmonics.

Smooth output
Rawsun AFE drives are much greener than general drives since they are equipped with function of active power factor adjustment. The output current THD is less than 2.5%, no pollution to grid power supply according to standard GB14549, GB/Z 17625.6-2003.

Four control modes
Rawsun frequency inverters are embedded with four control modes: V/f, SVC1, SVC2 and VC, for the purpose of fulfilling a wide variety of industrial applications with optimized control algorithm. SVC1 is the robust open-loop vector control mode accepting static auto-tune1, SVC2, the precise open-loop vector control, requires rotary auto-tune, while VC is the high performance closed-loop vector control with PG.
Rawsun AFE drives, for the purpose of energy saving, are oftenly applied to applications with frequent braking, such as hoist, cranes, centrifugal, conveyor system, dynamometer, wind tunnel test platform and so forth.
